The Mission is on the move

As the property occupied by the Mission of Norway to the EU in 17, rue Archimède is due for renovation, the Mission will move its offices across the Schuman roundabout to 6 Schuman late April. However, the postal address will still be Rue Archimède 17, 1000 Bruxelles, and the phone numbers will also remain the same as today.

STAYING IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD: The new offices of the Mission of Norway to the EU will require only a slight detour compared to our present ones. Situated right across the Schuman roundabout, the temporary offices will be colocated with the Scottish representation in Brussels. From May 2nd the Mission of Norway to the European Union is swithching offices temporarily while renovation work is undertaken at our present location.

Our new visiting adress will be 6 Schuman, on the Schuman roundabout, just down the road from our curent offices.

We will remain reachable throughout our moving

Telephone lines at our rue Archimède office will be disconnected on Thursday April 26th at 4:30pm.

While our moving offices will likely entail some of our staff being temporarily hard to reach, we will strive to remain online and in touch via mobile phones and home offices.

The majority of our staff will be installed and online by April 30th. The Mission expects to be fully operational by May 2nd.

Renovation work at rue Archimède is scheduled to be completed within 18 months of our moving.

Conference facilities

To our current knowledge the conference room at the ground floor of 17 rue Archimède will remain at the disposal of the Mission and our guests until June 1st 2007. The possibilitiy of use beyond this date is not yet verified, as reconstruction work is likely to impact on working conditions in the building.

As soon as a progress plan for rue Archimède is finalised, information on when and where we can host visitors and events will be published on our website.

More information on the moving process will be published continuously on these pages.
