Norway - EU Agreement on fishing quotas in 2005

Norway and the the EU signed Friday 26 November 2004 a bilateral fisheries agreement for 2005. The agreement fixes the Parties fishery next year on the common fish stocks in the North Sea, the Norwegian fishery west of the British Isles and in Greenlandic waters, as well as the EU's fishery in the Norwegian Economic Zone in the Barents Sea. Norway and the EU have also agreed on the fishery in the Skagerrak for 2005. Furthermore, they have entered into an agreement on the Swedish fishery in waters under Norwegian jurisdiction in 2005.
