Security and defence policy in the EU is the main issue to be discussed during the official visit by the Norwegian Standing Committee on Defence to Brussels on 12. October.
The committee will meet with the Director-General of EUs Military Staff Lt. General Jean-Paul Perruche, Chief Executive of the European Defence Agency Nick Witney and the director for political-Military affairs Claude-France Arnould. With Brigadier General Lennart Bengtsson, the committee will discuss the work conducted by the EU military staff (EUMS) and military committee within the framework of the European defence policy (ESDP).
