The Norwegian Minister of Finance met with the Ecofin Chair
On 13 October Finance Minister Per-Kristian Foss met with the Dutch Ecofin Chair, Minister for Finance Gerrit Zalm, in the Hague.
The Ministers discussed a variety of EU issues, including the upcoming mid-term review of the Lisbon Strategy and the latest developments of the discussions on the Stability and Growth Pact. They also had an exchange of views on issues related to cross-border banking, including supervision and deposit guarantee schemes, and on taxation matters.
